Skerries Community College Raises Over €3000 With Virtual 5K

Congratulations to DDLETB Skerries Community College staff and students who have raised over 3000 Euros for the learning support unit.
On Friday, May 21st Skerries Community College organised a virtual 5k, for the first time.
Participants had to walk or run 5km in their own time, and upload “selfies” at the end wearing their specially made T-shirt’s.
The school got a great response from local small businesses, in particular, those that had been in lockdown throughout the year.
The school has raised €3,353, all proceeds are going towards providing materials for the learning support unit.
The committee organising is grateful to all staff who participated, and local businesses for their support.
