Local Youth Club Grant Scheme 2024 – Apply Now!

The Local Youth Club Grant Scheme (LYCGS) supports volunteer-led youth club/group activities at a local level. Funding for the Scheme is provided by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) and is administered locally by Education and Training Boards (ETBs) on behalf of DCEDIY.

DDLETB Target Youth Employability Support Initiative 2024

The aim of the Targeted Youth Employability Support Initiative (TYESI) is to engage and support the harder-to-reach young people aged 15 to 24 years who are not currently in employment, education, or training.

Eligibility Criteria

1. The initiative is open to youth organisations that support young people.

2. Applications may be made by individual/Joint applications.
Where there is a joint application, certain rules apply.

3. Strictly focus on the TYESI target group and/or ETB-designated priority target groups in a geographical area.

4.The approaches of mentoring and coaching must be incorporated into the service delivery.

5.TYESI must not lead to a displacement or duplication of existing publicly funded initiatives.

6. All Child Protection, Safeguarding, GDPR, legislation and appropriate insurance cover must be in place.

Applications must be received by the 21st March 2024.
